Zanussi began life in the workshops of Italian blacksmith Antonio Zanussi in 1916. He started up the business by making and selling stoves and wood-burning ovens.

The company went on to become a global success and became part of the Electrolux group of companies in 1984. Zanussi-Electrolux is now widely recognized as a leading brand for household kitchen and cleaning appliances and the Zanussi brand has become synonymous with bold design, advanced technology and user-friendly performance.
